The Weekend of Upgrade

An increase or improvement. A new model or version. Promotion. UPGRADE

Tonight at church, as I looked at the faces of the people crying out to God, I saw a group of changed people. I was remembering when I first came to Poland in August of 2014, and where they were at. If someone were to visit them back in August of 2014, and walk in to their prayer service tonight, they would see a different group of people. The corporate prayer nights in this church have dramatically changed in a short period of time. The people are praying together in unity, they are participating, and they are moving with the Holy Spirit. They have been upgraded, and they will never be the same again. I can tell that those who do not consider themselves to be strong, are in reality much stronger than they think. Everyone is stepping up, and it is noticeable. They are beginning to carry spiritual stature, and there is a corporate anointing when they come together. Plus, God's presence is showing up in a powerful way. I almost couldn't stand up when Patrycja and her father, Pastor Slawek, were praying. I couldn't understand exactly what they were saying, but I knew what their topics were: Presence of God and revival for Poland. They prayed with such power and intensity, and the people joined them with passionate prayers. To me that is the biggest testimony, is that as these leaders grabbed the mics, the people arose to join them in 'battle.' I am amazed at what God has been able to do with a group of people who are willing. I don't know if they see the change, but I do. I think the next best thing to a person getting revived by God, is watching someone else get revived. [UPGRADE]

The praise and worship has been getting deeper too as we introduce new songs. I have to admit, I've incorporated lots of new songs in the past few weeks. I have had lots of different people assist me with translating them from English to Polish, and the lady singers have done an excellent job of helping with singing the songs. Some words in Polish are much longer than our English words. So translating a song can take a long time for various reasons. Even after one song is translated, positioning the chords takes additional work. Though once we're able to accomplish this, we're able to introduce a song that creates a cherished moment in God's presence. Last Friday night we introduced, "Jesus Is The LORD" or "Jezus Panem Jest." It was the right song at the right time, and we couldn't even start the next song. It felt like God came into the room as a King. What do you do when the King comes in? What is the right response? Well, we all bowed and worshiped Him, that was the right response. It was worth all the work people put in to make that moment happen. Not only that, I have noticed how freer the people are getting in worship. That is probably the best part of it all; people getting freed to do what they were meant to do. [UPGRADE]

Another great testimony I have is the upgrade that has happened with their children's ministry. I took some footage a couple of weeks ago to use when I was in Warsaw, and I was deeply amazed at what they have done. The room was totally upgraded, and the children are changing! Just a couple of weeks ago I was able to put a microphone in front of a six year old, who flowed in a spontaneous song we were singing. He was fearless, and he sang with strength. I was very proud because I know his parents are cultivating this at home. Plus, he is receiving training on Sundays in the Light Kids ministry. [UPGRADE]

I am believing as we head into this weekend, internationally God is bringing an upgrade to his church. It's a new season and it's time for an upward expansion in the lives and ministries of people around the world. I believe that God is promoting people into new places, and bringing a new level of increase. Like a baby about to be born, new life is being birthed. This is the weekend for upgrade and I am expecting a greater change!
